The Wall – Stories Under Occupation
Aufnahme einer Theateraufführung des Al Kasaba Theaters in Ramallah
in arabischer Sprache mit englischen Untertiteln
"They have planted this foreign body in our guts and fed it with all
kinds of injustice,suffering,and oppression.They made it grow and curl
in our veins like a hungry serpent and swallow each day part of our
flesh. It shot up and mounted to our necks, twisted around them and
strangled our breath.. We shout but our voices hit the depth of the wall
and echo back thundering: their waves travel everywhere but nobody
responds."
This wall is the topic of the hour. We chose to speak about it in our
new play, in a folkloric, musical and sarcastic style.
